This site is the result of a lot of traveling, a lot of research, and a lot of just sitting around thinking about it all and talking with some like-minded college professors about our country. I’d like to hear from you -but there are some guidelines which I guess are really rules:
1. Please email me, but you cannot do it anonymously. After all, you know who I am. I’m quite Googleable. You must include your name and contact info. I won’t post all of that if I decide to include your comments, but I will include your first name.
2. Thoughts are OK, but if you do not back up any “facts” or quotes with links and/or attributions, your email will go into the trash. I won’t even look at it. I have gone to some pains to make sure that I have linked/attributed as much as possible, I expect the same from my readers.
3. When I have received any information that necessitates a correction, I will post it on the appropriate page. I say when, not if, since I thoroughly expect to receive something from somebody that says I’ve messed up and got something wrong. In fact, I hope this is the case.
If you like something, let me know that, too, I’m not above some Internet stroking. In my continued research and travels, I will probably come across something that makes me revisit what I’ve written. Again, when that happens, I’ll post the page and link.
Speaking of links, this sites uses a bunch of them; if something’s broken, let me know so that I can fix it. I’ve striven to receive permissions from sources to use materials, but if I’ve linked to a web site or web element that belongs to you, and you don’t want me to, let me know that as well and I will remove it ASAP.
